PREORDER: LG x DFest Drink Bottle
Chris is a Tiwi man from Milikapiti on Melville Island. He is part of the large Miartuwee clan, and a long line of ancestors that practice telling stories through jilamara – Tiwi ochre designs that draw on ceremonial body painting, creation stories and family totems.
Chris’ artwork is a unique contemporary celebration of the Tiwi family totems that are important to him such as Jarranga (buffalo) and Yirrikipayi (crocodile).
