From the collab between the renowned Walmajarri artist John Prince Siddon and accessories queen Poppy Lissiman, the Great Escape tote showcases Siddon's playful use of scale with various insects and mammals grouped to a similar size.
John Prince Siddon's complex mythology entwines contemporary politics and personal experiences to present a technicolour vision of Prince's Australia. His multilayered works present various agendas relating to race, gender, the environment, politics and identity. Familiar desert iconography appear in his work in uncanny circumstances as his personal quest for a contemporary voice has manifested through his art practice.
