17. Rainbow Serpent is greedy for Bawaliba

Regular price
‘In this painting on the left, it’s the mother and father for the children. This Rainbow serpent went out to eat all the kids. The parents went looking for their kids, but all the houses were empty. They just came back from hunting, and their kids were all gone. The legs and arms were all in pieces. The Rainbow Serpent ate the yams and the kids. He was a greedy serpent. This artwork took me 4 days in total. It was the biggest work I’ve made. I feel good, my heart feels good and happy. I’m really proud of myself for doing all of this painting.’
