Kuntjil Cooper was born at Irrunytju rockhole in the 1920's and passed away in 2010. She was an senior law women and traditional custodian for the Minyma Kutjara story from Irrunytju. She was a founding member of Irrunytju Arts and received high acclaim for her works. She is represented in many public institutions and private collections. Itjulunya Kuntjil's mothers place of birth is close to Kunumata 50kms south of Nyapari and Kanpi Communities. Kuntjil has done this work for Tjungu Palya while visiting family in Kanpi.
Tjungu Palya is an Indigenous-owned art centre based in Nyapari community, on the APY Lands of South Australia. Tjungu Palya means working together in a good and happy way. At Tjungu Palya, artists from the three communities of Kanpi, Nyapari and Watarru come together to paint to earn money to support their families. Since its incorporation in 2006, Tjungu Palya has grown to be a dynamic and innovative community art centre. Located about 100 km south of Uluru (Ayres Rock), Nyapari is set at the base of the majestic Mann Ranges in the heart of country traditionally owned by the Pitjantjatjara people.

We pack all artworks securely to protect during shipping. All artworks and purchase above $100 are insured against damage during transit and require a signature on delivery. A tracking number is be provided as part of our shipping process to the contact details you provide.
As much as possible (for artworks under 1 metre) we use Australia Post to ship our artworks within Australia. For artworks that are large or fragile, we use Pack n Send to courier the artworks to you. For customers who purchase multiple artworks at once, we can get quotes to send your purchase via the regular shuttle between Darwin and major capital cities.
We do our best to provide accurate shipping costs on our website at check out, however every item for sale in our gallery is unique and as such, it is sometimes difficult to automate and estimate our shipping costs, especially when customers purchase more than one artwork at once. Our team reviews the postage paid on every order and on the odd occasion we have significantly overcharged or undercharged you, our team will be in contact to rectify.
